Cúcuta exposes innovation and technology projects

From this Tuesday to November 16, the cucutans will be able to attend the digital space that shows innovative projects and ideas in technology and digitisation.

At the event you will find 36 stands of public and private companies, universities and colleges, entrepreneurship workshops, academic areas, technological projects, talks and panels by 17 national and departmental lecturers.It also has spaces for research, animation, video games, web development and digital media.

Outstanding projects

  • Margarita Boada, official of the Department of ICT, explained the management of the Plantar project, which through the use of drones, which take hyperspectral images, is in charge of carrying out an analysis and showing the climatic and soil conditions to the farmers so that they know the opportune moment and can sow in the best way.
  • ‘Plantar’ has been developed for 10 months by the governorate, together with the University of Pamplona and The Francisco de Paula Santander University (UFPS), in Convention, La Playa, Ocaña, La Esperanza, Arboledas and Mutiscua.
